However, it does make it harder to notice Xamot’s scar at a quick glance. The paint work on the chest is a little sloppy. There’s quite a bit of silver bleed on both Tomax and Xamot’s chests. As expected by those who are familiar with GI Joe, the figures are mirror images of eachother, with Xamot having a small scar on his left cheek to help differentiate between the two. The figures I received have excellent paint jobs (though Tomax has just a little bit of brown overspray on his face - forgiveable in my opinion since it looks like dirt). Tomax and Xamot were towards the top of my list for "must haves," so when they showed up in the mail today I was greatly pleased. Tomax and Xamot were so fascinating to me in 1985 that I took the first opportunity I could to get to a store and buy the set. It was the same day that I had seen the commercial for their debut comic (during an episode of MASK, no less) and one of my buddies called to ask if I wanted to make a trip to Dolgin’s ( a local department store with locations in the KC area) with him.
